TGIF! Zombie Slayer Updates for January 16, 2026

Happy Friday, players!

We hope everyone has been having a good start to the new year. Things have picked right back up here at Kano HQ and we’ve got tons of exciting game news coming your way all year long. Now, let’s jump into the news of the week!

In-Game Updates:

The Faction Quests event is live now in Zombie Slayer! Gather your Faction members and work your way through 6 quests to earn Loot Cases. Remember that Medium and Hard quests will reward UN Credits based on your contributions.

Our newest mini-game makes its return! The Stronghold Survival Challenge is live now and runs until January 19th. Build up your base to earn XP and Cash by using your trusty hammer to fill the Hit Points bar. Completing this Challenge will earn you the clear bonus item!

Get ready for a weekday Challenge with the Snowy Hill Calendar! You have until Friday January 23rd to complete it and earn yourself XP and the clear bonus item!

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: We've recently added Faction Tags! Faction Leaders can now apply up to 5 (maximum) tags to their Faction to give other players a better picture of your playstyle, play frequency, time zone, etc. Players can now also search & sort by Faction Tags when looking for a specific type of Faction to join!

General Updates:

For our Discord community, every Friday you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Stream! We recently released a new method for players to acquire UN Credits through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra UN Credits for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of UN Credits! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
