TGIF! Zombie Slayer Updates for August 8, 2025

Happy Friday, players!

We’ve made it to the end of the first week of August. Hopefully everyone is having a lovely summer and getting a chance to enjoy some nice weather. With that being said, there are games to play and you’re in the right place to hear all about it. Let’s jump into the news of the week!

In-Game Updates:

The Faction Wars event begins today! Zombie Slayer players can dive in starting at 10AM (PDT). Rally your team and make sure you’re all enrolled before it kicks off. Battle hard for the best rewards and good luck!

A NEW Prestige Location is here: the coastal city of Victoria, Canada has reopened! Eligible Slayers (who have already completed this Location) can now revisit it to take on higher Tier Outbreaks to earn bonus XP, Cash, Skill Points, and Prestige Coins. - We also recently refreshed the Prestige Shop Item Sets! Next week join us for an Admin Blitz event! If you're around on the following date, make sure to drop by & nab some sweet Coin off of the Kano folk. Watch out for the group chats that get posted beforehand and remember to bump up those Admins Killed and Listed stats.

Admin Blitz events will now also have a special Kano item giveaway, so don’t miss out! We hope to see you there on:

Tuesday, August 12th - Server 1, Server 2, and the Kongregate & Armor Servers @ 3PM (PDT).

In future Quest Events, the required amount to complete the Help Quest will be reduced. This will be in effect at the next Quest event. Thank you to the players for sharing their feedback with us.

Take on the weekend challenge with the Krazy Kart Ride Calendar! Available today and running until Monday August 11th @ 10AM PDT. Complete this challenge to earn yourself XP and the clear bonus item!

Next week starting on Monday August 11th is Blitz Week! All week long there will be an increased number of Blitz events running (including a rotation of the new Blitz modes). Keep an eye out for targets and rack up those kills!

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire UN Credits through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra UN Credits for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of UN Credits! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:

Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
