TGIF! Zombie Slayer Updates for August 15, 2025

Happy Friday, players!

This week’s TGIF is jam packed with gaming news, updates and the announcement of our next major Livestream coming next week (Tuesday). Thanks for joining us and let’s jump into it!

In-Game Updates:

Deep beneath the city streets, a foul ritual awakens the long-dead. The Cult of Undeath Raid Boss thrives in the shadows, led by zealots twisted by dark magic and driven by a single goal—immortality at any cost. Their crypt is overflowing with bones... and they’re looking to add yours to the pile. Face the undead and strike down the cult before their nightmare spreads above ground, but be warned, for there is something else going on this week…

Raid Fusion has returned! While battling Cult of Undeath Raid Boss players will be earning Components for their attacks and heals. You can then go to the Fusion workshop and combine your Raid item drops with the Components to upgrade your Common and Superior items, eventually forging the powerful Premium items! There is also an event leaderboard where you can earn even more bonus prizes based on your performance. Turn up the heat with our Summer Sale! For a limited time, grab exclusive bundles packed with the special summer item set and UN Credits to keep you cool while dominating the competition. You’ve only got until Saturday August 16th @ 9AM PDT to check it out, so don’t wait!

The new Battle Pass season has arrived! Available now in-game, both the Free and Premium reward tracks are packed with awesome loot for you to unlock. We’ve made two exciting updates to the Battle Pass: the final item set now comes with improved stats, and for this season only, completing the Premium path will earn you an exclusive bonus Avatar. Don’t wait—this season ends September 10th, and once it’s gone, it’s gone for good!

Our newest mini-game makes its return! The Stronghold Survival Challenge is live now and runs until August 18th. Build up your base to earn XP and Cash by using your trusty hammer to fill the Hit Points bar. Completing this Challenge will earn you the clear bonus item!

Coming in hot from the hands of the master craftsmen, are the all new Legendary Gemstone Crates! These come packed with ultra powerful Legendary weapons to obtain, so check it out while they are available. Just a reminder that the 3 x Master Crate packs come with a guaranteed Legendary drop every time!

As you know we've recently released an update to the Fight List that surfaces Strength based targets on your List (other players who are similar in total fight power to you). One of the most common pieces of feedback we receive is about how there are not enough targets on the Fight List for many players. The goal with that update has been to address that and improve PvP by filling up Fight Lists with more targets for players to engage with. Since that release, we've spoken with players and made additional changes like adding in a level limitation for higher level players attacking levels below them (for Strength targets) and reducing the Health Regen rate to give players more time before having to jump back into the action. Over the next few days we will be releasing the following updates:

Attack Boosts will no longer be allowed against anyone below your level range
Higher level Out of Range opponents who are within your Strength range will now be identified with the Strength tag
(Bug) The Out of XP Range warning that has been incorrectly showing on profiles if they were Hospitalized will be fixed

Take on the midweek challenge with the Kamp Kano Calendar! Available Monday August 18th @ 10AM PDT and running until Friday August 22nd. Complete this challenge to earn yourself XP and the clear bonus item!

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: Check your Social Feed in-game to stay up to date on what your allies are up to. You can also collect boosts from them, Help them on Outbreaks and Fights or fill out Squad Contract slots!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire UN Credits through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra UN Credits for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
