TGIF! Zombie Slayer Updates for May 16, 2025

Happy Friday, players!

And a very happy Mother’s Day to all. We hope you all had a nice and relaxing weekend. The Kano team has been working hard to bring you all the latest updates and news you need, so without further ado, let’s jump into it!

In-Game Updates:

Slayers, a brand NEW Location has just been released! As of today, eligible players can NOW officially explore the beautiful city of Tijuana! Battle the brand new Location Boss; the Cartel Zombie to unlock new Achievements, items & Outbreaks, & much more. We're really happy to bring this one to you, check it out and let us know what you think!

The Faction Wars event begins today! Zombie Slayer players can dive in starting at 10AM (PDT). Rally your team and make sure you’re all enrolled before it kicks off. Battle hard for the best rewards and good luck!

A NEW Prestige Location has been released: it's time to re-explore the city of Edinburgh! Eligible Slayers (who have already completed this Location) can now take on higher Tier Outbreaks (Bronze, Silver, Gold) to earn bonus XP, Cash, Skill Points, and Prestige Coins. Next week join us for an Admin Blitz event! If you're around on the following date, make sure to drop by & nab some sweet Coin off of the Kano folk. Watch out for the group chats that get posted beforehand and remember to bump up those Admins Killed and Listed stats.

Admin Blitz events will now also have a special Kano item giveaway, so don’t miss out! We hope to see you there on:

Tuesday, May 20th - Server 1, Server 2, and the Kongregate & Armor Servers @ 3PM (PDT).

Next week starting on Monday May 19th is Blitz Week! All week long there will be an increased number of Blitz events running. Keep an eye out for targets and rack up those kills!

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: We have released an update to the Seasonal Leaderboards, your Season Score! During the course of the season your overall score will be tracked and increase as you complete 1 of 8 different game activities. It’s a great way to compare overall progress and success during a season. Good luck!

For our Discord community, every Friday you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Stream! On Fridays at 12PM PDT (or 3PM EDT) you can join us live in our growing Kano Community Discord. Hang out and find out what’s happening next in our games, and who knows, you may just win yourself a prize of bonus FP or an exclusive item!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire UN Credits through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra UN Credits for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of UN Credits! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:

25 FP bonus for signing up
Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
