TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for September 26, 2025

Happy Friday, players!

We’ve arrived at the end of a very busy September. Keep your eyes on the news feed today for a Guild Wars survey that will be posted. We want to gather more feedback from the community as we continue to work on the planned update to that mode. Now with all that said, let’s jump into it!

In-Game Updates:

The sons of Thor himself, Magni and Modi carry the raw might of their father’s thunder in every strike. Fierce warriors and unshakable brothers, they fight side by side with perfect unity—Magni’s unmatched strength and Modi’s unrelenting fury make them a Raid Boss no Viking warrior dares underestimate. Sharpen your weapons and prepare for a challenge like no other, for there is something else going on during this Raid…

The Raid Vault Breaker Event has returned! For every 1000 actions (attacks/heals) completed against the Magni and Modi Raid Boss you will unlock 1 of 5 random crew members. You can then use those unlocked crew members to break open vaults for valuable rewards! There is also an event leaderboard running where you’ll earn even more bonus rewards based on your placement. The season is changing and it’s time to break out the sweaters, toques and warm drinks. Let’s celebrate with the Autumn Sale live now in-game! You can check out the all new item set + Favor Point bundles available, but don’t wait because this sale ends on Saturday September 27th @ 9AM PDT!

Our newest mini-game makes its return! The Ragnar’s Voyage Challenge is live now and runs until Sept 29th. Destroy the ship to earn XP and Cash and by dealing enough damage and destroying it, you’ll earn yourself the clear bonus Item! Coming soon is an update to the Chat feature in-game! Now you can @ another player in a Group Chat (does not work in World Chat) and they’ll be notified either live or when they login next. If you have muted another player they will not be able to @ you. Try it out and let us know your thoughts or any other Chat updates you’d like to see.

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: Reminder to complete your Kano ID Account Upgrade if you see it available on the Home Page (if you don't you're all set already). Read on below for more details on the steps and the bonuses!

For our Discord community, every Friday you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Stream! We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:

Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
