TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for May 9, 2025

Happy Friday, players!

We hope everyone has been having a good week and enjoying some nicer weather hopefully (depending on where you live). The Kano team has been hard at work and I’m here to bring you all the updates and news you need. With all that said, let’s jump into the news of the week!

In-Game Updates:

Lurking beneath the swamp’s murky surface is a nightmare older than the trees. The Colossal Crocodile Raid Boss isn’t just big—it’s a living fortress of fang and fury. With a hide like armor and jaws that snap steel, it’s the apex predator of forgotten waters. Brave the fog, tread the marsh, but beware: once the ripples start, it’s already too late. However, keep your wits about you because there is something else going on during this event…

Raid Ranks are back! Defeating the Colossal Crocodile Raid Boss will earn you Rank Points and help you increase your Raid Rank. As you climb to the higher Ranks you will get access to higher level versions of the Raid Boss. Higher ranked Bosses will earn you better and better rewards including chances at Mythic drops. There is also an event Leaderboard that you’ll progress and collect even more rewards from at the end. We’re celebrating power, charm and love with the Mother’s Day Sale! Snag yourself (or Mom) some exclusive bundles with the limited time item set along with Favor Points. This promotion is live now in-game and will only be available until Saturday May 10th @ 9AM PDT. The Viking Mother Ship is an attack heavy weapon that will prove very valuable in the battles to come.

Starting @ 10AM today (May 9th) you can jump into the special Mother’s Day Weekend Calendar Challenge! Complete the Calendar to earn yourself XP and the clear bonus item. Good luck and you have until Monday May 12 @ 10AM to finish it.

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: In-game if you ever see a big orange button appear at the top of the page called “Pending Admin Message”, worry not that just means you have a message from one of us at Kano. Once you reply to the message it will clear away from the header..

General Updates:

For our Discord community, you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Stream! We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
