TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for May 10, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
The weather has been shining brightly here, and it is really starting to feel like summer. If you haven’t checked out our Discord community yet, this is a great week to do it, as we will be running a player poll to vote on what upcoming quality of life update will come next! In-Game Updates:
Land, sea or air you are never safe. A great beast of mythology has reared all of its deathly heads and set its gaze on the people of Viking Clan. The Dragon Hydra Raid Boss has attacked and it’ll take the full might of you and your Clan to defeat this monster. Toppling this enemy will earn you tons of XP and an item drop, but that’s not all going on this Raid…
Because the Raid Ranks event has returned! Battling and defeating the Dragon Hydra Raid Boss will earn you Rank Points and eventually even cause the Boss to rank up! As you take on these harder versions you’ll get the chance to earn Mythic Loot drops. That’s not all though, there is even a leaderboard for the event that’ll give out more rewards at the end! It is May, so we wanted to take a moment to appreciate all the Mothers out there and we’ll do so with the Mother’s Day Sale! Available right now in Viking Clan there are brand new bundles of Favor Points and items to get. This promotion will only be running until Saturday May 11th @ 9AM PDT, so pop in and check it out! The Moon Mother is a strong and balanced warrior that will help greatly in the coming battles.
A brand new weekend Calendar Challenge has been released - The Mother’s Day Calendar! Check out this limited time Challenge while you can and complete it for the clear item bonus. You have until Monday May 13th @ 10AM to wrap it up!
A smaller update, player links are now clickable in World Chat. We felt this would better help players navigate the game and interact with both friends and foes!
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
