TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for August 29, 2025

Happy Friday, players!

And a big fond farewell to August 2025! A busy month here at the Kano office with game updates, Raid Fusion and so much more. Thanks for joining us for the weekly TGIF and let’s jump into the news of the week!

In-Game Updates:

From the storm-choked skies of Norse legend thunder two fearsome beasts — Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr, the fabled goats of Thor himself. Crackling with divine energy and cloaked in the fury of the storm, these celestial creatures are no mere myth — they are a trial of raw power and primal wrath. Gather your allies to take on this Raid Boss and claim the power for yourself. Be wary, for there is something else going on this week…

Raid Fusion has returned! While battling the Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr Raid Boss players will be earning Components for their attacks and heals. You can then go to the Fusion workshop and combine your Raid item drops with the Components to upgrade your Common and Superior items, eventually forging the powerful Mythic items! There is also an event leaderboard where you can earn even more bonus prizes based on your performance. As summer comes to an end, it’s time to look ahead and prepare for September. Well you’re in luck because there’s no better way then with the Back to School Sale! Check out the brand new items set and Favor Point bundles that are available right now in-game. Act fast because this promotion will only be around until Saturday August 30th @ 9AM PDT. The Back to School Scrolls are a powerful weapon that can help give you the edge over your enemies.

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: If you're looking for more targets on your Fight List remember to turn on "Chieftain Skirmish" (in the settings under fight settings) and "Guild Skirmish" (a Leader or Officer can turn this on from the Guild page).

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
