TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for August 28, 2026
Happy Friday, players!
As always time flies by and August is coming to an end. We hope the summer has been treating everyone wonderfully, but worry not because the game updates will not be slowing down. From major Livestreams, a new Raid event and so much more, we can’t wait to share all the details with you. Stay tuned each week to the TGIF and now it’s time to jump into the news!
In-Game Updates:
The skies darken as Vedrfolnir Raid Boss swoops down from the branches of the World Tree. With razor-sharp talons, enormous wings, and a watchful gaze, this legendary eagle is ready to defend its domain against all challengers. Brave the fury of the skies, survive its devastating attacks, and prove you have what it takes to conquer this mythical Raid Boss.
Raid Games has returned! During the Raid Games event every action you complete against the Vedrfolnir Raid Boss will contribute to your overall team’s progress. Checkpoints along the way will earn you rewards with powerful Mythic items to be claimed for the final checkpoints. Each team will also have 3 Team Champions at the end for those that complete the most actions for their team and will earn bonus rewards. No matter your age we all remember when the end of summer was in sight and that means it’s time to get ready to head back to school, so let’s enjoy it with the Back to School Sale! Available right now in-game you can check out the all new item and Favor Point bundles. Don’t wait too long because this sale is only running until Saturday August 29th @ 9AM PT.
Our newest mini-game makes its return! The Ragnar’s Voyage Challenge is live now and runs until August 31st. Destroy the ship to earn XP and Cash and by dealing enough damage and destroying it, you’ll earn yourself the clear bonus Item! Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!
Tip of the Week: If you haven’t heard yet we’ve got an all new powerful consumable called the Raid Capsule. This brand new feature will give you a major head start against the next Raid Boss you summon by draining a big chunk of health. We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account!
