TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for April 12, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
Next week the Kano team will be coming together at HQ for a big planning session as we discuss and map out future updates, events and plans for our games. That doesn’t mean the updates stop however, so read on to get the latest news on what’s going on!
In-Game Updates:
The chase for the Sun and Moon has ended and two deadly wolves have turned their menacing gaze to Viking Clan. Arm yourselves Vikings and prepare to face off against the Skoll and Hati Raid Boss! Gather your party if you’ve any hope to bring this Boss down and claim your rewards. However, stay sharp because that’s not all that’s going on during this event…
The Raid Shop+ Event has returned to Viking Clan! As you complete actions against the Skoll and Hati Raid Boss you’ll earn tokens. You can then use those tokens to redeem them for special items and Loot Cases in the Raid Shop. The flowers are blooming in the meadows and the sun is shining a little brighter, it must be spring. What better way to celebrate that then with the Spring Sale! Available right now in-game and running only until Saturday April 13th @ 9AM PDT. There are brand new bundles of Favor Points and the Spring item set to check out. The Spring Blocker shield is a great piece of equipment to protect yourself with, in the battle against Skoll and Hati.
Available for a limited time, is the weekend Cosmic Calendar! Running until Monday April 15th @ 10AM PDT. Check out this special Challenge while you can and finish it to earn yourself the special completion bonus item!
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

General Updates:
Attention Discord community, next Friday April 19th the Discord Livestream will not be happening. Worry not though, because it will return to schedule the following week (April 26th).
If you didn’t know, on Fridays you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Livestream! On Fridays at 12PM PST (or 3PM EST) you can join us live in our growing Kano Community Discord. Hang out and find out what’s happening next in our games, and who knows, you may just win yourself a prize of bonus FP or an exclusive item!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
