TGIF! Viking Clan Updates for April 10, 2026

Happy Friday, players!

It’s been another busy week here at Kano and we’ve got tons of exciting updates to share below. Remember to check out the “Coming Soon” section in the TGIF for a look ahead at what’s coming to your favorite game in the near future. Now let’s jump into the news of the week!

In-Game Updates:

When the Jotnar Raid Boss marches, entire kingdoms burn. This towering war-giant is less a creature and more a walking catastrophe, an ancient force unleashed to flatten armies and reduce cities to ash. Each step shakes the battlefield, each swing of its weapon sends shockwaves through the ranks, and its burning gaze promises nothing but ruin. Gather warriors and prepare for battle if you wish to earn powerful loot and XP.

This is a special Guild Raid event and you'll need the full might of your team to win this event! All actions taken against the regular Grendel’s Mother Raid Boss will go towards earning your Guild a special summon token. You can then use that token to summon your Guild only Raid Boss (Jotnar). Try taking down as many Jotnar Raid Bosses as your team can and you’ll earn the top rewards! Take advantage of the Spring Sale before it gets away! There are all new bundles of Favor Points and the new item set available. Act fast, because you only have until Saturday April 11th @ 9AM PT before it ends.

Get ready for the weekend Calendar Challenge! Running until Monday April 13th @ 10AM PT, you can take on the Cosmic Calendar. Complete the challenge to earn the bonus item!

An update for players on Kanoplay in regards to the Xsolla purchasing change: Thank you all for the feedback you've been sharing. We've been working diligently with Xsolla to improve the payment processing experience for players (to make things run more smoothly). If you previously ran into any issues, please give it another try and let us know how it goes. We'll also be adding the ability to gift Favor Points through Xsolla and that will be coming next week!

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: Owners of a Private Chat Group can now pin/unpin messages in the Group. This is available on both desktop and the mobile app.

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
