Happy Friday, players!
The month of spookiness is here! Halloween is on the horizon, so it’s a great time to soak in all the scary and enjoy the season. Thank you to everyone that contributed to the survey we had posted this past week and we can’t wait to share more about what’s coming next. Now with that said, let’s jump into the news of the week!
In-Game Updates:
From the highest mountain peaks comes a daring challenger—The Gryphon Rider Raid Boss! Soaring through the skies atop his armored beast, this fearless raider strikes from above with talons sharper than steel and a vantage point that no vault is safe from. With a hearty laugh and a reckless grin, he dives into battle, relying on his gryphon’s unmatched speed and his own cunning to overwhelm any who dare stand in his way. Hoist the anchor and turn your gaze upward Pirates for this Raid Boss challenge if you want to earn the rewards, but be warned that there is something else going on this week…
The Raid Bounty event has returned! A series of bounties have been placed on the Raid Boss The Gryphon Rider and completing and claiming a bounty will earn you a bonus reward. As the bounties become higher ranks the rewards get better! Plus there is an event leaderboard during the event that will reward players with even more prizes based on their placement. The season is changing and it’s time to break out the sweaters, toques and warm drinks. Let’s celebrate with the Autumn Sale live now in-game! You can check out the all new item set + Favor Point bundles available, but don’t wait because this sale ends on Saturday October 4th @ 9AM PDT!
Players, we've also got an exciting NEW Chat Update for you! As of today, players can now be @ mentioned in Group and Armada Chats (which will send an in-game notification if the player is online and a mobile push notification if they are offline.) Mobile Notifications will only be sent to players who have installed the mobile app & of course, you also have the option to opt out of notifications if you'd like. Try it out and let us know what you think!
Next week starting on Monday October 6th is Blitz Week! All week long there will be an increased number of Blitz events running, including a mixture of the new special modes. Keep an eye out for targets and rack up those kills!
Lastly, twice a week there are new item drops in-game! Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
