TGIF! Pirate Clan Updates for January 16, 2026

Happy Friday, players!

We hope everyone has been having a good start to the new year. Things have picked right back up here at Kano HQ and we’ve got tons of exciting game news coming your way all year long. Now, let’s jump into the news of the week!

In-Game Updates:

The Armada Wars event begins today! Pirate Clan players can dive in starting at 10AM (PST). Rally your team and make sure you’re all enrolled before it kicks off. Battle hard for the best rewards and good luck!

Our newest mini-game makes its return! The Royal Plunder Challenge is live now and runs until January 19th. Destroy the vessel to earn XP and Cash and by dealing enough damage and destroying it, you’ll earn yourself the clear bonus Item! A NEW Prestige Location is NOW available in Pirate Clan! Eligible Pirates (who've completed this Location already) can officially return to the "Haunted Mangal", if they dare! Complete NEW Bronze, Silver & Gold Tier Adventures to earn bonus XP, Coin, Skill Points, and Prestige Coins. Next week join us for an Admin Blitz event! If you're around on the following date, make sure to drop by & nab some sweet Coin off of the Kano folk. Watch out for the group chats that get posted beforehand and remember to bump up those Admins Killed and Listed stats.

Get ready for a weekday Challenge with the Snowy Hill Calendar! You have until Friday January 23rd to complete it and earn yourself XP and the clear bonus item!

Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

Tip of the Week: We've recently added Armada Tags! Armada Leaders can now apply up to 5 (maximum) tags to their Armada to give other players a better picture of your playstyle, play frequency, time zone, etc. Players can now also search & sort by Armada Tags when looking for a specific type of Armada to join!

We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:

Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
