TGIF! Pirate Clan Updates for April 19, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
A busy week comes to a close as the team gathered together at Kano HQ to plan out upcoming updates and features for the games. It was a great and productive week and we can’t wait to share more with you (keep an eye out for news on our next big livestream). Now without further ado, let’s jump into the news!
In-Game Updates:
They say that no one is more dashing, charming or handsome then the world renown Captain, The Gentlemen Pirate! Well…it is mainly spread around by his own crew, but nonetheless prepare yourselves you rascals of Pirate Clan because this Raid Boss has made port and he’s determined to wipe out any and all competition to his self-appointed title. Defeating this Raid Boss will earn you tons of XP and great loot. However, we have something else going on this week…
The Raid Shop+ Event has returned to Pirate Clan! As you complete actions against The Gentleman Pirate Raid Boss, you’ll earn tokens. You can then use those tokens to redeem them for special items and Loot Cases in the Raid Shop. The sun is shining, there’s a light breeze in the air and the sea is calm. Some would say it is a perfect spring day and what better way to make the occasion than with the Spring Sale! Check it out while you can because this limited time promotion will only be available in-game until Saturday April 20th @ 9AM PDT. The Springtime Sloop is the perfect vessel to terrorize your enemies with.
Next week join us for an Admin Blitz event in Pirate Clan! If you're around on the following date, make sure to drop by & nab some sweet Coin off of the Kano folk. Watch out for the group chats that get posted beforehand and remember to bump up those Admins Killed and Listed stats.
Admin Blitz events will now also have a special Kano item giveaway, so don’t miss out! We hope to see you there on:
Tuesday, April 23rd - Pirate Clan Server 1, Server 2, and the Kongregate & Armor Servers @ 3PM (PDT).
Next week is Blitz Week! Starting Monday April 22nd keep an eye out for an increased amount of Blitz events running. Toss up your rivals and defeat the targets for big cash prizes!
Lastly, a reminder that twice a week there are new item drops in-game. Limited Time items on Tuesdays and Limited Quantity on Fridays. Keep an eye out for anything that catches your interest!

General Updates:
For our Discord community, next Friday you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Livestream! We recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay
