TGIF! Game Updates for October 8, 2021

Happy Friday everyone!

Before we get started, just a head’s up that this coming Monday, October 11th, is Thanksgiving up here in good old Canada. 

Thanksgiving in October? Us wacky canucks, I know, but the Kano HQ will be closed in observance. There will be a short delay in responding to tickets, but as always we will be monitoring the games to make sure everything runs as expected.

With that out of the way, there’s a big thanksgiving helping of updates in this TGIF, so let’s get to what’s new in gaming news this week:

In-Game Events

The Autumn Sale is on now in Pirate Clan! Don’t miss out, pick up some great deals on Favor Points and unique items!

The Headless Horseman Raid Boss returns to Pirate Clan with a couple of surprises! There's a chance to win a Mythic item when you defeat a Raid Boss and there is a Halloween Piggy Bank to help you out for the entire event, so get out there and defeat some Raids!

Viking Clan Guild Raid Event Winners

Over in Viking Clan, the first Guild Raids have wrapped up and you can go collect your rewards from the Boss page!

It was an exciting first event with lots of Guilds competing to be the best. We’d like to congratulate the Guilds who placed in the top three spots for their excellent strategy and teamwork:

New Mob Wars: LCN Location - Warsaw - Out Now!

Standing on the banks of the Vistula, the Phoenix City has a cache of hidden Cold War weapons ripe for the taking. If only an international arms dealer wasn't already in the way... 

Open to Mobsters level 15,670 and above! Jobs and Property out now with the Co-op Boss and Minigame out next week.

Loyalty Item Refresh

New Loyalty Items are now available in Mob Wars: LCN, Pirate Clan and Viking Clan. Head on over to the Loyalty tab in the Shop and check out the new stock!

New Battle Pass Season Next Week

Next Wednesday, October 13 at 9 am, a new Battle Pass Season will begin in Mob Wars: LCN, Pirate Clan and Viking Clan.

Make sure to complete those Challenges and earn those rewards!

Raid Leaderboard Achievements

Early last year we sunset the global Raid Leaderboards in favor of personal ones, but left the Achievements for leaderboard placement active so players could still collect them.

This was our intention, at least, as thanks to some tickets sent in by a diligent player we uncovered that the leaderboard stats have not been working as expected for a bit.

We’ve fixed that up this week, so starting from your game’s next Raid Event you’ll be able to make progress towards the leaderboard Achievements again.

Thanks to the player that brought this up to us! If you ever see anything in the games you’d like us to look into, please let us know via Support.

Improved Friend Sorting and Filtering on Desktop

Last week we released an update to Friend sorting on the mobile apps to allow you to filter for Friends who are not yet in a Syndicate to recruit them.

This week we’ve released this update to the desktop version, so head over to your Mob (or Clan or Squad) page and see if you can pick up some new recruits.

This change was suggested in our last livestream, so if you have any requests for updates swing by a stream or let us know in Support!

Set up a Kano ID!

For those who aren’t in the know, we also have our own website for hosting the games over on Kano Play (www.kanoplay.com). 

Server 2 is its own environment, but Server 1 is a mirror of the Facebook games. If you ever run into problems using Facebook canvas, you can always hit up Kano Play Server 1 and continue your game.
