TGIF! Game Updates for March 12, 2021
Happy Friday, all!
March keeps on rolling, and we’ve got new events coming up and a new Location to let you know about! Read on to find out what’s new and upcoming in gaming news.
In-Game Events
Trafficking in exotic pets, most notably large snakes, the Ophidian Sect is looking to barge in on your smuggling operations. Gather your mobsters this weekend and earn Raid Tokens to spend on specialty items and Loot Cases in the limited time Raid Shop!
As we mentioned last week, this Raid event started a few hours early at 6 am Pacific to make way for a Raid Boss double-header on Friday, March 19th at 9 am. Once you’ve gotten some fancy items from the Ophidian Sect, check out the next Raid as well which might have you feeling a bit Irish!
Just a head’s up that once the Ophidian Sect Raid Boss wraps up on Friday next week, no more Raid Tokens will drop. The Raid Shop page will stay open until April 2nd to allow you to spend your Raid Tokens, but once the Ophidian Sect is gone, so is the chance to earn Tokens.
Viking Clan, your Raid Shop event is up next week!
New Pirate Clan Location
Rumors abound that the trees in this swamp produce magical wood, almost impenetrable to cannon shot. But nobody who has journeyed in has lived to tell the tale...
A new Location is now available for Pirates Level 20,985 and above! Adventures and Rule out now, with the Co-op Boss and Minigame coming next week.
Job Chat Filter
This week we added a filter to the Job Chat channel so you can choose which types of posts you want to see, from Raids and Bosses to Help and Recruit requests. If you set the channel to “All” you will see every post which has been the default view for a while now.
This filter can be found at the bottom of the Job Chat channel, and you just click on which type of post you’d like to filter by.
This is on desktop for now and will be heading to the Mob Wars: LCN mobile app early next week.
