TGIF! Game Updates for January 19, 2024
Happy Friday, players!
The Raid Games Event rages on this week as it wraps up today in Mob Wars LCN. A big congratulations to the Blue team for pulling out the victory after a close race. Congrats to everyone who participated and remember to collect your rewards. We got lots going on this week, so without further ado, let’s jump into it!
In-Game Updates
The stories have been told for generations, passed on down from parent to child. Now the fiend of darkness has returned for the blood of all Vikings. Grendel has assaulted Viking Clan and this Raid Boss won’t be an easy foe to take down. If you can manage this great feat of strength then bountiful rewards will be yours to claim.
Alongside this Raid Boss comes the Winter Raid Games Event! Join a team and go for Gold in this prize filled competition. Any actions (attacks/heals) taken against Grendel Raid Boss will count towards your team's total actions. As checkpoints are reached you’ll earn bonus rewards with even more prizes to win based on your team’s final placement!

Grab the tankards because the mead is flowing. It’s time to celebrate the new year with a good drink and great deals with the New Year’s Sale! Prepare yourselves Viking Clan player’s because there are brand new bundles of items and Favor Points available and they’ll only be around until Saturday January 20th at 9AM (PST). The Horn of Midnight is a powerful weapon both offensively and defensively, which is just what you’ll need against Grendel.
On Wednesday next week the Prestige Shop will be getting updated across all four games! This will bring brand new rewards to obtain and remember to pick up any final items you’ve been waiting for from the current Prestige Shop before the change.
The Faction Quest event is live now in Zombie Slayer! Gather your Faction members and work your way through 6 quests to earn Loot Cases. Remember that Medium and Hard quests will reward UN Credits based on your contributions.
Lastly, Pirate Clan and Mob Wars LCN, your Armada/Syndicate War events begin today. PC players can dive in now (10AM PDT), while the LCN event begins at 4PM (PDT). Rally your team and make sure you’re all enrolled before it kicks off. Battle hard for the best rewards and good luck!
General Updates
For our Discord community, every Friday you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Livestream! On Fridays at 12PM PST (or 3PM EST) you can join us live in our growing Kano Community Discord. Hang out and find out what’s happening next in our games, and who knows, you may just win yourself a prize of bonus FP or an exclusive item!

A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:
- 25 FP bonus for signing up
- Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
- Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites
- Specials offers on Kanoplay

Admin Blitz Event
Next week join us for an Admin Blitz event in Pirate Clan! If you're around on the following date, make sure to drop by & nab some sweet Coin off of the Kano folk. Watch out for the group chats that get posted beforehand and remember to bump up those Admins Killed and Listed stats.
