TGIF! Game Updates for February 16, 2024

Happy Friday, players!

We hope February has been going well for you all. We have loved hearing how much everyone has been enjoying the new Mini-game we released, which is extra exciting because it is back for another round this weekend! That’s not all however, so without further ado, let’s jump into it!

In-Game Updates

The old tales spoke of an ancient monster that lived deep in the woods. It would awaken in the cold of winter to terrorize the weak minds of humans and feast on their flesh. Some even spoke of its ability to bring forth the beast in people and make them turn on each other. The Wendigo Raid Boss stalks the forests and it is time the warriors of Viking Clan to face this creature and make them pay! Overcoming this Raid will reward you with XP and loot with a chance at a Mythical item drop.

While the fight for the people of Viking Clan is paramount, it is also important to take a moment to appreciate yourself and what better way to do that then with the Valentine’s Sale! Running right now and only until Saturday February 17th at 10AM (PST). You won’t want to miss out on the exclusive bundles with the Valentine item set along with piles of Favor Points. The Love Huntress could be a powerful ally in your battle against the Wendigo!

Next week our new Mini-game makes its return to Mob Wars LCN, Viking Clan and Pirate Clan! The Highway Heist challenge (Ragnar’s Voyage in VC and Royal Plunder in PC) runs until Feb 19th at 9AM (PST). Destroy the convoy to earn XP and Cash and by dealing enough damage and destroying it, you’ll earn yourself the clear bonus Item! The Faction Quest event is live now in Zombie Slayer! Gather your Faction members and work your way through 6 quests to earn Loot Cases. Remember that Medium and Hard quests will reward UN Credits based on your contributions.

A few other extra updates this week. Across all four games, we recently released a new method for players to acquire Favor Points through a system called Rev U. By completing tasks such as making progress in a game or by filling out a survey, players can start earning extra FP for their account! For our Mobile App players, we now have a new option for purchasing Favor Points, the Xsolla Webstore! Not only does it support more payment methods than what was previously available, but you’ll also have access to exclusive larger bundles of FP! In all our games we have also recently released an update to Cash calculations from battles. You may notice an increase in Cash lost from battles between yourself and other players if you lose. It will be based on a player’s hourly income and level. As always please feel free to contact our Support team if you have any questions.

Lastly, Pirate Clan and Mob Wars LCN, your Armada/Syndicate War events begin today. PC players can dive in now (10AM PDT), while the LCN event begins at 4PM (PDT). Rally your team and make sure you’re all enrolled before it kicks off. Battle hard for the best rewards and good luck!

General Updates

For our Discord community, every Friday you can join Matthew and the Player Success team for the Discord Livestream! On Fridays at 12PM PST (or 3PM EST) you can join us live in our growing Kano Community Discord. Hang out and find out what’s happening next in our games, and who knows, you may just win yourself a prize of bonus FP or an exclusive item!

A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players (Facebook/Server 1 players) will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:

25 FP bonus for signing up
Secure your account (protection against potential loss of your Facebook or Mobile credentials)
Switch between devices or logging onto other Kano hosted sites

Admin Blitz Event
