TGIF! Game Updates for February 14, 2020
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
Before we jump into this week’s TGIF, just a head’s up that this upcoming Monday (February 17th) is Family Day. As such, the Kano HQ will be closed in observance. Don’t worry, we’ll still be monitoring the games, but responses to tickets will take a bit longer than usual.
Let’s go over what’s new this past week in game news:
In Game Events!
The Valentines Sale is on now! Check out the sweet treats and hot deals before the sale ends on February 16th!
The mighty shapeshifting Jotunn Thiazi has absconded with Idunn! Track this giant down and slay him for tampering with the keeper of the Golden Apples of Youth!
The Idunn’s Orchard Minigame is also available to play as well. Crafting will be released next week which will tie off releases for this Location.
Mobile Release Update
This week we rolled out update 3.4 to all mobile apps. In case you missed last week’s update, here’s a list of what has been updated, fixed, or improved in this latest version. Please make sure to update your apps to get the best experience!
- Improve Ambush/Counter functionality, including easier management for adding/removing
- Adding an alert when players are getting close to holding the maximum value of Cash/Gold ($18.44 quadrillion) in their Bank
- Adding a view to Quests tab that allows Leaders/Officers to check the contribution of their members
- Including video tutorials in a new section of the More menu (Mob Wars: LCN only!)
And bug fixes included in this update:
- Your opponent’s Friend count now shows under their health bar in Fight (previously showed your Friend count instead)
- Fixed an issue where Help requests on server 1 on Android devices were not posting to the in-game Social Feed.
- Improved Facebook login flow for Facebook and Android
- Improve performance on iOS with new rendering for image assets
