TGIF! Game Updates for August 11, 2023

Happy Friday, players!

We wanted to start off the TGIF off this week with a massive congratulations from all of us here at Kano to all the players that participated in the Summer Raid Games event! There were close races across all 4 games and we hope you collected yourselves some great loot. With that said, there’s still lots going on here at Kano, so let’s jump into it!

In-Game Updates

Old tales and drawings passed down over the years have alluded to the existence of “The Glistening One”. Now no longer will Pirates young and old wonder about the legends of the sea serpent because…Tiamat has returned! The Goddess of the sea is laying waste to Pirate Clan and it’ll be up to you and your Armadas to bring her down. Overcome this dangerous challenge and be rewarded with XP and powerful gear. There is even a chance to earn yourself a Mythic Item drop upon victory!

On top of that, running now until Friday August 18th in Pirate Clan is the return of the Piggy Bank! While the Piggy Bank is active a portion of the Favor Points used will be stored there. Once full you can break the bank and claim your FP! Clear sun soaked skies and a cool breeze marks the best time for sailing. It must be summer and that means the Summer Sale has docked in Pirate Clan! This exclusive promotion is running now until Saturday August 12th at 9AM (PDT). Check out the special bundles available offering up Favor Points and the summer item set. The Summer Cruiser is an attack focused vessel that would be a powerful addition to any Pirate’s arsenal.

The Syndicate Quest event is live now in Mob Wars LCN! Gather your Syndicate members and work your way through 6 quests to earn Loot Cases. Remember that Medium and Hard quests will reward Favor Points based on your contributions.

This weekend across all 4 games is the special weekend Calendar - Sizzlin’ Summer! This challenge is available until August 14th at 10AM (PDT). Complete it and you’ll receive the clear bonus item and Kano art background.

Lastly, Zombie Slayer and Viking Clan, your Faction/Guild War events begin today. ZS players can dive in now (10AM PDT), while the VC event begins at 4PM (PDT). Battle hard for the best rewards and good luck!

General Updates

Today and most Fridays you can catch us on the Discord Livestream! On Fridays at 12PM PDT (or 3PM EDT) you can join us live in our growing Kano Community Discord. Hang out and find out what’s happening next in our games, and who knows, you may just win yourself a prize of bonus FP or an exclusive item!

A reminder to our players about completing the Kano ID account upgrade. Eligible players will see the banner on their homepage in-game near the top and it should only take a couple minutes. There are wonderful benefits to doing so:

Admin Blitz Event

Next week join us for an Admin Blitz event in Zombie Slayer! If you're around on the following date, make sure to drop by & nab some sweet Coin off of the Kano folk. Watch out for the group chats that get posted beforehand and remember to bump up those Admins Killed and Listed stats.
