TGIF! Game Updates for March 6, 2020

Happy Friday everyone!

Hope you’re all feeling hale and hearty and are washing your hands regularly! Just in case you needed extra incentive not to go outside, let’s go over what’s new this past week in game development news:

In Game Events!

New Crates are available with new Legendary items! Make sure to pick up a Master three-pack for a *guaranteed* Legendary item!

The Undead Special Agent returns with a rejuvenated Raid Shop! From now until noon on March 9th, earn Raid Tokens when you battle this zombified investigator to spend on special Premium items and Raid Loot Cases not available anywhere else! For more info on the Saint Patrick’s Day Raid Event, check out our walkthrough here (https://www.kanoplay.com/blog/zombie-slayer-st-pats-raid-shop-walkthrough.html).

Pirates Level 19,385 and over can now sail to the Pirate Republic city of Nassau! Adventures and Rule are available right now, with the Co-op Boss and Minigame coming out next week.

Syndicate Quest Favor Point Payout Update

During last week’s Syndicate Quest event in Mob Wars: LCN, we introduced dynamic FP payouts in Medium and Hard cases like we’re doing for all Quest events this month (you can read more about this in this TGIF https://www.kanoplay.com/blog/tgif-game-updates-for-february-21-2020.html).

The upside of this change was that players were supposed to get a better payout of FP from these chests based on their contribution. While we did give out more FP overall last event compared to previous events, unfortunately this was not without its problems.

On KanoPlay server 2 and Kongregate/Armor Games, we were alerted by players that they were receiving less FP than they expected from their Loot Cases based on their contribution to Quests. We investigated and regrettably found that Loot Cases on those servers were not paying out correctly.

Some players did get less than they were supposed to, and we spent the middle part of this week identifying those players, what the difference was and topping them up accordingly. These players were notified in-game via Admin Private Message.

We apologize for the inconvenience and are performing additional checks on the other games and Mob Wars: LCN. If you have any further questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to let us know via Support (support.kanoapps.com)

Other Updates

This week we expanded the Loot Case history view to accommodate your past 10 Loot Cases opened instead of five. To see your history, go to the Loot Case page in your game’s store, and click “View Case History”.

We also duplicated the Accept/Send all functionality from the alerts pop-up to the Gift view on your Mob (or Clan or Squad) page. If you navigate to Mob (Clan/Squad) to Gifts to Received, you can send or recieve all like you can when you open the alerts bar under your profile picture.

We also added a prompt to send a Gift to a player you just allied with and cleaned up some of the Gifting layouts.

Next week on Wednesday, March 11 at 1:00 pm Pacific, join us on the Mob Wars: LCN fanpage (https://www.facebook.com/mobwarslcn/) for a livestream with our Player Success team going over some exciting changes coming to Mob Wars: LCN!

We'll be going over the highlights, answering questions from our fanpage and maybe giving away some prizes so make sure to swing by!

Next Week's Admin Blitz Event

Next week, we'll be holding an Admin Blitz in Mob Wars: LCN! If you're around on the following date, make sure to drop by and nab some sweet cash off of some Kano folk:

Tuesday, March 10: Mob Wars: LCN server 1 @ 3:00 pm Pacific and Mob Wars: LCN server 2 @ 3:30 pm Pacific.

Lame Joke of the Week:

What does a grape say when it gets stepped on?

Nothing, it just lets out a little wine!
