TGIF! Development News for November 29, 2019
Happy Friday everyone!
And a Happy Thanksgiving to our American players! While I’m sure everybody is full of turkey and excellent sides and close to a food coma, there’s still time to reflect on and be thankful for this past year.
We’re thankful that we still get to make great social games that continue to be played by passionate people the world over, and we’re excited to carry that into 2020 and beyond.
Now let’s go over what’s new this past weekend in development news:
Black Friday Weekend Sale!
All this weekend we’re running our Black Friday sale! In addition to great discounts on item and FP packages, we’re also selling World Chat name colors for a limited reduced price! Not only that, but we’re running a special one-off Black Friday Calendar until Monday morning so give that a peek as well!

In Game Events!
The multi-limbed warrior of legend, the great Starkadr, is invading your territory! Renowned for both his heroism and his purported crimes, the gods of Asgard have put a large bounty on his head! Gather your clan and march to war this weekend only for XP, new achievements and rare loot!
Lottery Update
Earlier this week we had a massive jackpot in Mob Wars: LCN to the tune of 3515 Favor Points! We’ve also had a couple jackpot winnings in Pirate Clan and Viking Clan, with a nice chunk of Favor Points there as well.
Now that the lucky winners have claimed their prize, we thought we’d take this opportunity to not only congratulate them but also break down some of the “why” behind our recent change to how the lottery works.
The old lottery system made it extremely improbable for any regular participant to win Favor Points. Under the new set-up, you are 38 times more likely to win 50 FP versus the old version.
By turning the lottery into more of an actual lottery we’ve not just increased the chance of winning payouts but also the overall amount that can be won regularly, and this recent LCN jackpot is a good example of that.
We’re not done with the lottery yet either! We’re planning an update for it very soon that will increase the starting jackpot, so stay tuned for news about that.
Mob Wars LCN Battle Royale Mobile Live Stream
In case you missed it this past week, Battle Royale is now on the LCN mobile app! To celebrate we hosted a livestream where we demoed the mode on mobile and hosted some LCN trivia. If you weren’t able to catch it live, make sure to watch the archive version below:
