Raid Camper (New Raid Functionality)

Mob Wars & Pirate Clan players rejoice!

There's some exciting news today - with our Pirate Clan Raid Ranks event, which launched this morning at 9:00AM Pacific (12:00PM Eastern) - we've released a new Raid Feature (and we're rolling it out this week for players in Pirate Clan to try out)

You can read more on our new Raid Campers functionality here: Raid Campers — Pirate Clan Help Center

Additionally, we wanted our Mob Wars: LCN players to have an opportunity to try out our brand new Raid Camper kick feature. So also, as of today Thursday November 28th at 12:00PM Noon (Pacific / 3PM Eastern) we're launching a special shortened Raid Event in Mob Wars.

Mobsters will be able to face off against the returning Extortion Racket Raid Boss (able to be summoned up until Saturday November 30th at 12PM Pacific) and you will be able to try out our brand new feature. (To also clarify, Syndicate Quests will be live at this time in Mob Wars: LCN but there will be no Raid-specific quest - this is simply an opportunity to try out our new feature and let us know what you think!)

Raid Boss owners will now have the ability to remove inactive participants (or Raid Campers) from their Raid Party.

After joining a Raid, players have 24 hours to complete the minimum Participation Goal of 2000 Actions (1000 of which must be Heals). Players failing to meet this goal will be eligible for removal from the Raid Party (at the discretion of the Raid Party's owner)

What is a Raid Camper?

A Raid Camper is effectively someone who has joined a Raid, but has not contributed the “minimum actions” within 24 hours of joining that Raid Boss. Minimum actions are 2000 total actions against the Raid Boss with at least 1000 of those being Heal actions.

Often, Campers can be a problem for some Raid Parties because once a Raid reaches 30 participants, no new players can be added. Campers make it much more difficult for the Raid Boss to be defeated.

If you decide to kick a Raid Camper (as the Raid Party's owner), consider that player cannot re-join that raid, nor any of your Raids again for the rest of the event.

Nothing with this feature is set in stone and we'd love to hear your feedback. Do you like the current time threshold? Has this helped you to get your Raids filled with active participants? What else would you like to see with this feature?
