Health Regeneration
Hey everyone,
We’ve been closely monitoring player Health regeneration and wanted to bring you into the conversation about a potential update. Right now, Health regenerates at a rate of just 1 unit per regeneration tick. Given that a player needs to reach at least 20% of their Max Health to exit the hospital and 30% to appear on Fight or Battle lists this slow regen rate can leave many players sidelined for days, or even weeks.
That’s a long time to be out of the action. And when fewer players are available for PvP, the entire game experience feels less dynamic and competitive.
We’re exploring ways to speed things up and get more players back into the fight faster. Below are three options we're considering, and we'd love your input on which direction makes the most sense for the game and its community.
- Option 1: Health Regeneration would be based on a percentage of max Health, instead of the current flat value. This would mean on average a player would regenerate enough health to be on the fight list after about 30 hours. This would apply to all players above 5000 hp.
- Option 2: Similar to Option 1, but with a limit based on your level. This way, healing is still faster for everyone, but players with higher Health pools keep their advantage of staying off Fight Lists longer.
- Option 3: Healing remains as a flat rate, but will be increased based on a player's level. Higher level players will regenerate more Health per tick.
