Blitz/Cash and December Updates

Hello players! 

We wanted to provide you with an update regarding the Hitlist/Bounty, Blitz and Cash systems. 

We recognize that many of our players were discouraged with the changes we made a few months ago and wanted to explain why we had to make such a drastic change and why we had to make it so quickly. 

Below you can see two charts that illustrate the amounts of Cash/Coin gained during the Blitz by our players over time. This continued on, as normal, for a while with small spikes each month, but then we began to see large increases in May 2024 and then enormous spikes in August and September. This threatened the functionality of the games, thus we were forced to make a change quickly. 

Once we implemented the changes, there was a sharp drop which makes it clear the Blitz was negatively affecting the game’s economy (even outside of the Blitz Event).

This amount of Cash/Coin was never meant to be obtained by players in this short of a timeframe. We failed to anticipate and react to the Cash/Coin generated during Blitzes and that is completely on us. We apologize. This is our fault, not the players, but we had to make a change to keep the game’s economy intact. We are sorry if this has caused any frustration or difficulties. 

While we aren’t able to revert back to the old system, we are dedicated to making improvements to ensure the feature is still enticing and fun for our players, while also being stable and balanced for the long-term future. 

We will be making two new changes in the near future that we hope will improve the enjoyability of the Blitz event based on player feedback. 

  • We will be reducing the amount of Cash/Coin lost in fights during the Blitz for all games. 

  • We will be removing the 1 minute delay for re-listing targets in Mob Wars: LCN during the Blitz. This delay to re-list only applies to the person who collected the hit. This should eliminate the necessity for an aggressive action back to remove the delay.

In addition to the changes above, another new & exciting feature we will be launching in December is Seasonal Leaderboards! 🏆 Unlike our current Leaderboards, these will be a seasonal race to see which player can get to the top on various aspects of our game… and then they will reset, starting a whole new race to the finish!

No rewards will be given during the December Seasonal Leaderboards, as this will be a test run to make sure they’re functioning properly and to get feedback from our players before implementing them fully. In the future, Seasonal Leaderboards will run for 3 months. Rewards for the Seasonal Leaderboards are currently being discussed. Let us know what you think!
